Our Story
We opened The Ragged Flagon because Duncan Falls deserved a place where the bread is still baked by hand and the shelves are stocked with things people actually need — not just things that move.
Our ovens fire up before dawn. The sourdough, the focaccia, the daily loaves — every one shaped, proofed, and baked right here on Main Street. Alongside them, you'll find groceries and pantry essentials chosen for quality, not margin.
We're not trying to be everything to everyone. We're trying to be the best version of exactly what we are: a bakery and a grocer that treats its neighbors right.

No shortcuts. No improvers. Just flour, water, salt, and time. Our sourdough starter has been alive longer than most of our customers have been coming through the door.
Every item on our shelves earns its place. If we wouldn't use it ourselves, we don't sell it. That's how we keep the selection honest and the prices fair.
